- Educational outcomes: At the conclusion of the training, the learner will be able to comprehend familiar words and phrases directly related to everyday communication situations (family, shopping, home, and work) when people speak slowly and clearly; comprehend short simple texts and personal letters; be able to locate information in simple everyday texts (labels, posters, catalogs, advertisements, job offers, menus, and timetables); and be able to handle typical everyday situations.
- Instructional techniques: include role playing, video watching and creative analysis, reading, listening, and translation activities, as well as group and pair work.

- Requirements for study completion: Completion of studies requires participation in 60% of contact hours. At the conclusion of the course, students must complete an in-house test, which involves writing, listening, reading, and speaking on the subjects taught.
- Method of evaluation: Listening - comprehends basic inquiries and the primary substance of information received, provided that the interlocutor talks slowly and clearly and is willing to repeat. Reading - comprehends the meaning of simpler texts (labels, posters, catalogs, ads, menus, job listings, and timetables), and makes contextual inferences about unfamiliar terms. Speaking - capable of responding to inquiries about himself or herself, speaking in basic phrases about himself or herself, his or her family, location of residence, and food. Writing - capable of writing a brief message.
- Certificate or certification of completion of the course: A certificate is given if all graduation criteria are fulfilled, which includes participation in at least 60% of contact hours and passing the final exam. The certificate contains the title of the finished course, the course's volume, i.e. the number of academic hours, the course's duration, and the ECP registry code. If the learning objectives are not met (the final exam is not passed), but the learner participated in the study, a certificate of completion may be given. The certificate is given in accordance with the contact hours attended.
